Hey mommas, I’m 36 weeks pregnant I’ve been having really bad pain on my right side and in my back. I’m also nauseous really bad and I lost my mucus plug 2 weeks ago but my water hasn’t broken and I haven’t had my bloody show. Could this be labor?

Oh wow for sure! And plus anything can happen in a pregnancy. I was 3cm one week and a week later a few hours before I gave birth I was 5cm. Things can change so quickly

@waylensmommy me too even though I’m tired now for getting sick but I’d rather be safe than sorry because my hospital is 40 minutes away😅

That's so crazy! Hopefully they have some answers for you. I'm definitely thinking they might want to see you though just to be sure

@waylensmommy I just saw her two days ago and she said my cervix is thin but high up and not dilated so I wasn’t worried but this pain is bad😬

They might want you to get checked out because I lost my mucus plug with no bloody show 3-4 weeks before I gave birth and when I went to L&D to get checked out I was 5cm 80% effaced and actively contracting. They broke my waters after 10hours of labor

@waylensmommy, that’s what I’ve heard I just talked to her nurse she’s letting my doctor know and asking her what she wants to do!

Not everyone has a bloody show when they go into labor. Good thing you called your OB

Your mucus plug keeps regenerating so it is completely normal to lose it and keep losing it. If there isn't blood with the plug, then it is usually insignificant. I would lay down on your left side, drink some ice water and see if it subsides. If not, it won't hurt to get yourself checked out. :)

Hopefully not, but you should call your doctor.
