At 2cm you could be there for weeks, the only thing I know of that might help you dilate is supposedly sex.

Walk and bounce on a yoga ball. That’s what helped for me and I went into labor the night before my induction.

@selandriac right I'm saying your cervix can stay at 2cm for ages so if you have any shit at safely going into labor without induction they say sex is supposed to do the trick. I've heard raspberry leaf tea can help the uterus. Lots of pineapple supposedly.

Honestly I watched YouTube and I saw a few videos on midwives brew! It seemed to work awesome for them, I was gonna try it in a few weeks!

@selandriac, why are they inducing you early?

Nothing worked for me. I started trying pressure points and was stripped after 40 weeks. I tried an essential oil that’s supposed to work “clary sage”. Walked a ton. Sex. Maybe these will work for you! I carried until 42 weeks and had to be induced. I wasn’t dilated at all though so I hope you have better luck!

@laniejay, I’m high risk and I have GD and due to my 2nd pregnancy Nd it’s not early I’m due the 12th of July so just 6 days I’ll be 39 weeks Wednesday so it’s only a week

@selandriac, it’s early to induce if there’s no medical issues. Try rolling your hips on a ball, nipple stimulation and sex. Unfortunately if your body isn’t ready, there’s not too much you can do.

Sex, nipple stimulation, bouncing on a yoga ball, swaying your hips while leaning forward on the kitchen counter or heavy piece of furniture to support you, walking, lots of orgasms to get the oxytocin flowing.

Also, I had my membranes stripped and I went into labor the same day. Is your doctor willing to try that a couple days before the induction? It’s worth a shot.
