I can not lie , you guys . . . This Momlife is really tough. Ive been a mom for 2 years & 1 month now && i STILL feel like i DO NOT have the hang of it ... im ONLY 22 y/o && its really tough when you HAVE NO HELP , smh its just me && my Daughter ... i try so hard not to get frustrated with her because shes only A toddlers && i know shes just being a baby. . Trust me i do not regret becoming a mom at all ... ive just had a rough time ... my motherhood has been bashed. When EVERYONE knows i bend over backwards for Layla , & will go with out && go for BROKE for this little girl ... && that hurts me a lot. . . I just need some advice 😔😔 or encouraging words ... im tired of being BASHED when all i do is really try my best to be a good mom to her .
Hey girl don't allow ppl to make u feel like ur a bad mom. Surround yourself by ppl that uplift you with positive vibes. I had my daughter at age 18 a single mom was in high school no help no family support as long as my baby was happy that's all that matters. And of course it's hard parenting it's a nervous wreck to me lol. But feel better
@dass72608 , its ppl that i trysted that are no longer in my life that went to unbelievable levels to hurt me. Because they know where to hit where it hurts ... but i finally CASTED AWAY that negativity to push on because i know whats up with me as a mother its just the person it came from id nvr think theyd hit below the belt when i told them things in confidence and off the strength of trust. . But i know i can not let that, dragg me down ANY more. Its bit worth it. . . Its just time to patch upp my cuts & bruses and get on track. . . To only be my age ive learned so much ...
I was a young single mom so I definitely understand your frustrations! You can pm me if you'd like!
There is no user manual to being a mom, especially a ftm. You are learning, and so is your baby girl. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to let outside opinions influence you negatively. Even when it comes across harsh, most people just want to help, and just don't realize the way their words sound. I'm sure you are doing the best you can!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Why can't other mom's just be there for other mom's and work together and help each other not bash other mom's because when other mom's bash other mom's it makes us feel like we aren't doing a good job at least that's how I feel when I get bashed.
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
so my mom was telling me I should give my son baby cereal at night because at night is when he wants to eat the most. I haven't done it yet but who thinks its okay I was thinking doing it when he's two months!??
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
@reeahsoblessed yeaa your absolutely right . I shouldnt allow that.
