Or maybe he gets hungrier before 4 hours ? My son eats every 2 - but that could be because he’s bottle fed breast milk

@avianlouiebos, did you switch his formula? That’s pretty much why he won’t settle. Some Formulas are tough on babies. My mom would tell me how my brother would scream for 5 hours straight until she switched

@carusod91 he usually feeds every four hours or so but im usually up every hour with him cause he cant settle

I basically “cuddle” my baby at night time. I sleep on my side and he’s on his back next to me , with the side of his body in contact with mine. He sleeps like a solid 6 hours before needing a feed and then back to sleep for another 4 hours. I find a full tummy helps him sleep.

@avianlouiebos, do you guys bed share at night time ?

@carusod91 im up pretty much every hour with his sleeping habits now it is exhausting

Looking back at that now, it’s so funny how I was so tired when that’s when he slept the Most!

I keep forgetting how much our newborns slept 😂😂

@avianlouiebos, you’re so lucky. I was soooo overwhelmed with waking up every 1-2 hours to feed him. I was EXHAUSTED. It ruined how I felt. For some reason I was just so nervous and anxious in the first week. Probably the hormones and recovery and just the whole new experience of being a Mom and having no idea what I was doing lol. I felt better when ppl were around to hold him haha I needed help

@carusod91 i found the first month the easiest he would sleep for hours and you wouldnt even have to do anything hed just pass out on his own and im the opposite he spent the night at someone elses when he was like 4 days old

@avianlouiebos, I get anxious when people who aren’t family or close friends hold my baby. I would’ve loved an overnight helper when I first brought him home though during the whole recovery and adjustment period. First week was extremely difficult on me

There’s overnight babysitters in edmonton? I never knew that haha. I think I’d have a heart attack though and still wouldn’t be able to sleep 😂
