when did your babies start sitting up on their own? Karter will sit up but can’t sit for very long before he falls over. he can sit well supported but unsupported his still very wobbly.

My youngest will sit unsupported for about 3-5 minutes now he is 5 months.
my oldest was 6 months when he started sitting up
Sounds like hes doing just fine!! I know they have general age points when kiddos are "supposed" to do something but every little one develops at their own pace. If hes trying and doing it for short periods of time thats great!! Youll blink and he'll be doing it for long. Athena was sitting up perfectly around 6months and right after her 1st birthday she took her first steps.

Theo just now got really good at it he can sit for a long time before falling down if i place him in a sitting position. He was still wobbly at 5 months of say 6 months he got it and he's mastered it

When my son was a baby he started sitting up around 4 months and crawling at 6 months. My cousins baby is 6 months and he isn't sitting up or pulling himself into a sitting position and I've noticed a lot of babies are sitting on their own by now. Question: should my cousin be concerned with his development? Is he really behind in his development?
