Checkouts in Aldi are like a military operation!! I can’t pack that fast and the tills don’t have enough space 😩😩😩

I think the same. Feels like I'm in some sort of race with everyone at the tills, especially as the people on the tills wear headsets in our one and are like robots.. they are the quickest at scanning lol

@mummymir haha.. Mine normally tell people to pack at the side if theyve got loads as otherwise it holds up the queue.

I had an interview there and they work on targets, scanning speed etc. That's why they all fly 😂 xx

@kerryy23, ive never paid enough attention to where other people are packing I have never once been told in there to ‘please pack at the packing area’ 😂 can’t believe that’s what it is for, always had people on opposite sides of me packing at the till too! I’ve only ever seen kids sat on that side bit as I walk out 😲. Deffo a love hate relationship 🤣🤣

I was in Aldi this afternoon and it was that rammed that the packing shelves were all full aswell and here's me trying to meander the pushchair and an overflowing basket, with my pork chops flying across the floor 😩

@beffgoude, @honeymoonblessing, @abbiehowe8, @ezchaz, I have been going to Aldi & Lidl for YEARS and I too have never once been told to pack like that! Makes so much sense now and I will do that next time. They have watched me struggle all this time and no ones let me know this😩🤣

That's what the counter space is for. Lidl's and Aldi you put it all back in the trolly and then pack in bags at the counter.

yehhh your not supposed to pack at the tills. you keep your basket or trolley, load it all back into that, then go over to the sides and pack your bags at your own pace 😁
