HELP WITH THESE PEACHES!!!

HELP WITH THESE PEACHES!!!

My in laws brought us back peaches from Georgia and they are great but I have a BUNCH! I'm trying to make a peach dumpcake cause hubby LOVES them but I have a problem. Every recipe I can find calls for canned peaches. How do I know how many real peaches to use that would be the equivalent of a can? Or if you have a recipe that would be AWESOME!! Any other ideas to help get rid of these peaches would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks ladies!!

Make fresh "fruit roll ups" for the kids! Organic and everything.

Cut up the fruit in small pieces.

Add a little bit of sugar or agave. Or honey!

Add water and boil everything for about an hour or so.

After its smooth, and bubbly blend it!

Pour It on a flat pan (sprayed or oiled) and bake for about 7-8 hours and the lowest temperature possible. I think I did 130 -140

They will come out great!

I have this one.

Ingredients:

6 to 8 ripe peaches, pitted, peeled and sliced

1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk

3 whole eggs

1 cup white sugar

3 teaspoons cinnamon

1 (18.25 oz) Betty Crocker SuperMoist™ white cake mix

1 cup sliced almonds (optional)

3/4 cup butter, melted

8 cups vanilla ice cream, for serving if desired

1 cup salted caramel sauce, for serving if desired

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, mix peaches, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar and cinnamon until well blended.

2. Spread peach mixture in prepared baking dish. Mixture will be very wet. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly on top of the batter. (Do not prepare cake batter.)

3. If adding pecans, sprinkle them over the top of the dry cake mix. Pour melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. Bake 50 minutes. Let cool. Top with ice cream and caramel sauce as desired.

You could make peach freezer jam, it's really easy and doesn't require canning and it's super good! I think clubhouse makes freezer jam packets and then you just add the chopped fruit and sugar. I've made it in the past and it lasts about a year or so.

TTC #2 (or more) and married group-Join Us! I started a TTC group for women who are ttc #2 (or more!), and married. I didn't do it to specifically exclude others, but to allow women in similar situations to find each other. We can all still happily participate in the general forum, but I thought it would be nice to have like minded people to talk to about ttc and motherhood. If you would like to join let me know and I'll send you an invite!
