I am terrified I won’t know when to go to the hospital or when I’m going into labor 🤦🏼 ♀

@lizsouthwick it's been almost 2 years since I had my daughter but I remember every single detail

@lizsouthwick when u start to push lol I had to be induced but even with the epidural I felt that I had black bruises for 2 weeks after!

@karensmommy, when? Like when you’re there to have the baby, during labor? I have an almost 12 yo son & honestly don’t remember anything lol I just remember being scared. I was almost 3 weeks overdue. They broke my water with a pick thing & a balloon.. the epidural didn’t work & really don’t remember much because I think I may have been drugged lol idk

And no body warned me about this but nurses will push on ur stomach and it does hurt like hell!

@lizsouthwick it will feel like someone is tearing your insides apart and putting it back together and repeating over and over so just try and time it and if it's 5 minutes apart consistently get to the hospital ASAP

@lizsouthwick I had bh once I'd I literally felt like I was dying from pain you will know when it happens 😂😂 I said oww like every second I couldn't move at all or even sit up.

@karensmommy, Idk if I’m having them or not.. I’m seriously unsure. My tummy is always hard & I’ve had cramps the last 2 weeks consistently. My next appointment isn’t until the 11th. I’m only 34 weeks so I’m sure I’m fine until then 🤞🏼😅

@lizsouthwick just throwing it out there: people always told me that contractions are suuuper painful, so when they started for me I totally ignored them at first because I thought they weren't THAT painful. Just so you know! Everyone is different of course, but I'd say if they get stronger and closer together, it might be the real deal. 😁

@lizsouthwick when u get bh time it if it's consistent for 45 minutes go to l&d

@karensmommy, I have thought about going in several times now & talked myself out of it... and here I am still pregnant lol.. they would have just sent me home! I hope my water breaks or something very obvious because I think I’d disregard anything else thinking I’m just paranoid

Or you could be In active labor alllll day after your appointment and not know it lol hey no one ever said I was the brightest crayon in the box haha. When I saw my midwife that afternoon she said be at l&d at 5 am for induction and have sex the night before. Wellll nope Bentley had other plans I was contracting all day thinking they were bh so around 4 I dropped my oldest off at his dads work by 4:15pm when I got there I was 6cm he was born at 5:50 pm no time for pain meds or epidural, she broke my water and 9cm and I pushed him out at 10cm 1 push! Trust me momma you’ll know when your in labor!

You'll know if it's labor just trust your instincts!
