Took second dose of cervadil at 12pm today doctor says I’m only 2cm and 10% -3 effaced 😩 I’m so impatient, tired , im uncomfortable then at 12am their coming in to see if I’m dilated enough so they can insert the foiley ballon in , has anyone ever been induced and went threw my same process , I wish things speed up and had my daughter here already , I hate hospitals

Same but not the same had that cervadil with my Last child I hope your experience is better then mine well my nurse was a bitch and that shit took for ever

They tried to get me to dialate for 48 hrs, and then I had a c section cause I didn't dialate more than 5cm. Such a slow process! Good luck Mc

I was induced too with pitocin. I never heard of any of that. What's the foiley balloon for?

I was induced. I didn't get the balloon because I never dilated 😩 But, I had 2 doses of cervidil, was on pitocin for 7 hours and had 4 doses of cytotec. It was all very painful and uncomfortable 😰 I ended up having a c section because I wasn't progressing. My son also happened to be stuck on one side of my uterus. That was a shocker lol. But, I hope your experience is a whole lot better than mine. Breathe through the pain and know that you got this. I think it's good that you're dilated! Good luck mama! (PS, induction was 3 days for me. Being induced takes awhile!)

@noahsmama, @angelinosmommy, I had cervidil cytotec and pitocin never opened after 5 days i had a c section. No pain tho since I never felt a contraction. But I second the being uncomfortable part 100%

I was also 36 weeks. When ur baby isn't ready to come they don't come. I had a health complication so induction was the only choice to keep both of us safe and healthy.

I forgot to say, I had one cerdivil, the Foley ball, and then pitocin!

@a.lares I had contractions but they were so little I couldn't feel them. The pain I was having was from my cervix. About 12 times something was up my vagina poking at my cervix. You're completely right about the baby not coming if they're not ready! I wish I knew that before I was induced 😥

@noahsmama, yes my cervix checks hurt more than any part of my c section recovery! And yes the nurses would tell me "ur having a contraction do u feel it?" And I was like no? I never even dilated.

@a.lares right! The recovery was easy compared to those cervix checks. Lol same with the nurses and I. We have a very similar induction experience! Except yours was way longer than mine 😱
