I can’t find anyone to do a smash cake for Jais’ bday. Apparently it’s not worth anyone’s time 🙄 at least that’s what we keep being told...

I don't know if you have a buehlers where your from but they make you a free smash cake with their birthday cakes and their cakes are DELICIOUS
@mrschanandlerbong95, lol I think my son would love his. I don’t want a big one though so it’s okay if he doesn’t eat it. It’s really for pictures to go in his baby book anyway.
My oldest wanted nothing to do with it, so we don’t do them with the rest.
@mommy.to.sterling, I am guessing so by the way they were explaining it to us. I think we may have found someone and I’m just gonna have to pay her what it would take to make a regular cake.
@mommy.to.sterling, most likely what I’ll end up doing. I know that Meijer and Kroger will not make small cakes. They come pre made. And none of the pre made ones were plain.

@bodybycheetos, lol nooo I don’t know what I’m doing. That’s why I didn’t wanna do the cake too. But looks like I’m gonna be forced to take it upon myself and that’s what is annoying me.
@mommaofjais, do you have fb? Go on garage sale pages if you have them in your area and ask if anyone has a recommendation. I know around here some people do businesses out of their home.
Walmart and crest always have white cakes. That's crazy! And I agree, with the 4th they should have alllll three together!
@mommaofjais girl go to Walmart, ask for an 8in cake with white frosting and a red boarder. If they can't do that, just ask for white and get a can of frosting (or make your own) and add red or blue dye and pipe it yourself. It's not hard to just go along side the edge especially if you know what your doing (you already are making the cupcakes so that tells me you somewhat know lol).

@masseymomma16, yes lol I know, I was already just gonna go with the colors but you’d be surprised how there are no cakes that match the colors. I couldn’t even find ones that were just plain. Trust me, I realize he’s gonna destroy it. I’m not picky lol
Can you get one plain and put a cake topper on it or order one of those sugar sticker pictures to place on it.

Albertsons has cute little cakes for like $6 that I used as a smash cake. I'm sure you can ask for a little round one and decorate it with whatever theme you're going with.
@one.tired.momma, I’m making the cupcakes already so I didn’t want to have to make his cake too. I’m just annoyed because I keep being told no, everywhere I go. Even by people we personally know. I’ve even offered to pay the same it would be for a normal sized cake.
