When your water breaks does it have a smell to it?

@odajeffers2, Thank you and I was induced with my first at 33 Weeks because I was having contractions but couldn’t feel them and with every one I had his heart rate would drop and my second boy decided he wanted to come at 37 weeks on his own

Oh wow praying for safe delivery but am in the same situation I never made it past 37 weeks I got induced with my 2nd youngest at 37+2

@saniaha, I never make it past 37 weeks🤦🏾‍♀️I either had to have my baby early or I was induced at 37 weeks

@mommyofaqueen, yeah I never made too my due date with none of my kids my water broke at 39 weeks with both and just make sure you pay close attention too your body and if you feel like something is leaking go in ASAP

It doesn’t smell like bleach.. too me it didn’t smell like nothing my water broke with both my kids

Tmi but I went to go use the bathroom and my underwear were wet but I didn’t feel anything come out I smelled it but it didn’t smell like anything I’ve never had my water break on it’s own so it’s really confusing to me

Yeah the amniotic fluid smells bleach like
