Is it normal to lose your mucus plug this early? (im 18 weeks tomorrow) im not cramping and it was not bloody, it was like a clear white jelly with kind of a green or brown color to say, but it was probably like nickel/quarter size.. i wouldnt be so worried if it didnt have a little bit of green/brown color, not the whole thing just a part of it had a tint of green/brown to say... which i dont think is normal.. should i call the nurses line since theres no doctor to talk to or wait till tomorrow or idk what to do? It was kinda old blood looking but kind of green and regret not taking a picture cause i didnt pay attention to it as much as i wish i did.. but im not cramping and i feel fine just kind of worried me.. wouldnt have said anything if it was just the white thanks!!!

@kendrab your mucus plug regenerates I started loosing mine at 29 weeks and still loosing some lost some this a. M. Yes I went to labor and delivery they confirmed but also told me that it grows back I even lost a lil bit this a. M.
I was told green means infection as well which will def need to be treated.
@julianna.mccoy i did and unless if i contract, bleed or have liquid leak she said to just relax avoid sex and drink water and if any of those occur i have to go to labor and delivery.... so im just going to act like im on bed rest for the weekend since its going to be 100 degrees anyway lol

@aengs2 @goodleah @izzabellamamasbabygirl i was told by my doctor unless if i start contracting or bleeding i shouldnt go to the hospital and the green could be the blood being broken down... so praying its nothing gonna try to sleep on it and hopefully wake up feeling fine... when i looked up mucus plug it was exactly like the ones i saw only not bloody so.. ugh just praying to keep this baby in full term.. and still want to be checked for infection but we will see... if i cant ease my mind by tomorrow it wont hurt to know but also dont want to be a worry wart like i am 😔 thank you ladies
@kendrab your way to early when u loose your plug your close to having your baby so i would for sure look into that with your doctor
This early I really doubt it was your mucus plug. If it had a strange color it was probably just discharge from an infection. I would call your doctor tomorrow. I wouldn't go to labor and delivery over that personally. If you really wanted to though, call them ahead of time and let them know what's going on.
If that is what it was, it's generally nothing to be concerned about. It regenerates itself. I personally wouldn't go in for that but definitely call your doctor if you're concerned.
@kendrab, maybe you should just go in to labor delivery n get checked to b on safe side
@julianna.mccoy thank you im praying too.. i know its very common later in pregnancy but the color was just concerning to me even though it was the smallest peice.. praying no cramping or anything comes and think im gonns call the nurses line to see what they say.... very concerning 😢
It could be normal. I’ve heard you’re mucous plug can grow back. But, I would call and ask just for peace of mind.
Green usually means infection. You can call and see if they can prescribe you something or call tomorrow morning.
Something just happened I just went to go pee & I was wiping & then I got this excruciating cramp in my lower back & it went 2 my tummy so I was leanin on the counter waiting for the cramping 2 stop then this stuff just started gushing/leaking out of me onto the floor & down my leg I'm not sure what it was, it was a clearish white-ish see through color😨

Well I. glad the lack of interest in me is because hes watching porn for the third time when he promised me three times he wouldnt. We have had 3 issues where it lead to him cheatinf before! Im glad I can be ugly. I didnt ask to be made fat and given stretch marks but damnit its our child and things happen.. Im still pretty right? am I?.. I didnt purposely try to look the way I do.. Im pregnant.. its how it works.. I thought I was still good enough. Do I still look okay?.. I keep shaking now..
Do not worry. I lost pieces of mine all throughout my pregnancy. I’m sure it’s perfectly normal what you experienced.
