🙄 baby keeps vomiting, not just a little spit up, it’s not every bottle it’s kinda random. He burps a lot. I don’t think I’m over feeding him. Went through the same thing with my daughter but she was older. With her we switched formula and it stopped happening. He’s on the formula that we switched to, maybe I should try the regular stuff for him? Idk I’m so lost. Hate seeing my baby do that 💔
@liz41395, yea theres the similac advance pro the hospitals give it to new borns and mine took it right away. Maybe youll have better luck with that one
@laniejay, yes to a point I feel like she was telling me it’s your kid you tell me what’s wrong with her and I’ll write u a script for whatever you think will fix it.
@liz41395, my babies always needed a pacifier after- they loved non-nutritive sucking.
@laniejay, he burps every half oz and all that, but I’ll cut back on the formula and see if that works. I think he sometimes just wants to keep sucking so we will try the pacifier with it
@liz41395, my pedi wasn’t any help when feeding either. You’d think it’s kind of an important thing to stay up to date and be knowledgeable with 🙄
@twerky, do you know how hard it is to hold all this info in my noggin?!? I’ve got to release it somewhere 😬 gotta make space for more
Range of eating is 1.5-2oz per lb of body weight per day. So even going with 9lbs he should eat 13-19oz per day- 8 feeds is Normal for that age- so 1.5-2oz per feed max especially since I went with the higher weight and spaced out feeds with those numbers. Be sure you pace feed. There are great examples on YouTube of how to. Burp every .5 oz at that age and it should take 5 mins per half ounce as you control intake. As they get older it’s 5 mins per ounce and burp every ounce.
I wouldn’t swap formula yet. They say not to change types before two weeks of consistency.
@laniejay, he was 9.3 when he was born he was 8.12 last visit on Friday
@twerky, she wasn’t much help when my daughter was doing it tbh. Probably why I’m so lost now
@liz41395, I think 3 ounces on average is a bit much for a week old baby. I may be wrong tho so definitely bring it up to his pedi tomorrow
@mamauv, he’s on gentlease cuz that’s what helped my daughter to stop doing it and her formula isn’t expired so I fed him that. Maybe I should try something else?
@laniejay, @twerky, he eats 3 oz sometimes less. We have to see pedi tomorrow anyway for weight and stuff
How many ounces is he drinking at a time? And yeah it might be the formula also. Have you talked to his pedi?
Still going through this with my little one. They found out he has some kind of allergy but we are now on the 4th kind of formula and it isn't getting better. He even had the issue with breastmilk.
Omg same thing was happening to my baby girl i switched to enfamil gentle ease and she hasnt spit up since and is feeling better. They also have enfamil a.r for less spit up maybe you can try one of these

Yah it’s over between me and my baby daddy Kevin were having a baby together
I’m hurt by him now
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.

Let’s retry this again... Moms does this look like heat rash? I noticed it last night when i was putting him to bed, he hasn’t had anything new to eat or drink so I’m confused as what it could be... i just don’t want to take him to the dr and them just say it’s heat rash but also want to know that it’s nothing more.. and we haven’t switched diapers either..
I've been supplementing some with formula because my baby boy just demands more than what I'm putting out and he seems happier with the formula..my breast milk doesn't seem to satisfy him enough and it seems like he's always hungry unless I give him formula..should I switch to formula only? I thought breast milk was supposed to be best but in his case I'm not so sure ugh idk what to do I just want him to be happy
Still going through this with my little one. They found out he has some kind of allergy but we are now on the 4th kind of formula and it isn't getting better. He even had the issue with breastmilk.
