Any suggestions

Hi ladies I only posted here once before and you were all so helpful with your advice that I decided to ask again. I am 44 years old and on my 11th iui with frozen donor sperm. 2 of them resulted in a pregnancy but shortly mc both. I tried injectable drugs for the last 3 rounds and produced 9 eggs each round but no pregnancies. I am on CoQ10 and DHEA for awhile now. I am considering donor eggs but would like to get pregnant once more with my egg to see if it will stick since taking those drugs/vitamins. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Oh and this round I will try pineapple, cant hurt and I love pineapple. Haha

Hoping I agree with everything peanut said. I am 43 did 3 iui with clomid 3 iui with injectables and 2 ivf. 1 cancelled cycle and 1 negative. I thought I could beat the odds but reality set in after all that money spent and no positive result. I am also moving on to donor egg. I found her privately , no agency for several reasons. She is 21 with her own baby. The odds Dr gave me with my own eggs was 10 percent with her eggs 80 percent!!! I know plenty of women having babies in their forties my mom had my brother at forty two. But everyone of them already had babies and none of the was ivf. The eggs of a forty year old do not hold up as well doing ivf. I wish you all the best do what feels right for you!

Hoping, I’m going to bump my post for you on age and fertility. It’s almost impossible to get pregnant at your age 44 via IVF w your own eggs, my honest opinion go straight to donor eggs. Between 40-42 that’s pretty much your last window for getting pregnant via IVF with your own eggs and even then with the most advanced technology it’s only 10% each IVF try. At 43 its rarely reported any pregnancy via ivf that results in a live birth with one’s own eggs.

I’m bumping my post called AGE and FERTILITY please read it. I’m just over 40, had one failed IVF (chemical pregnancy) and due to finances, emotions, time, I’m going straight to donor eggs and I could get pregnant on my own via IVF, I just personally don’t like the 10% odds each time & the money and emotions involved, too much of a roller coaster. If you get the donor eggs of someone that’s 22 your odds of pregnancy are the same as a 22 year old which is 70-80 percent. Your age at 44, it’s less than 1% each time via IVF. At 40 you only have 3% of your eggs left and 44, maybe 1% if not, less than. I just want you to know what you’re up against and your RE should be forthcoming with this information.

I have agencies I’ve researched if you need referrals that are on the cheaper side, some will try to charge you up the wazzu. But please read my post on age and fertility, it should give you some insight. Thanks.
