Am I being unreasonable?! Ladies normally im a lurker, but I could really do with some outside opinions on if im expecting to much.. here I go!
For the last week ive had hideous flu, like sweating, cant lift my own head, just want to lay in a heap until its over flu but I cant because ive got 3 spirited tiny humans to look after, dh works 50+ hours a week so hes helping out with bed time but the rest of the week ive been crawling round the house in my dressing gown trying my hardest. My brother and mother live 20 minutes away and do nothing during the day but neither of them have offered to help out or even asked how im feeling and my fil, and both sils live 30 minutes away knowo im unwell and havent offered to pop in or help out either. Normally I don't have any help, we never ask for baby sitters and do everything for our children ourselves, but this week ive really struggled am I being unreasonable to think out of all these people someone could help me out?
Not unreasonable but if you need help you have to ask. People are caught up in their own lives sometimes and don’t necessarily realize when someone is needing help unless they ask.
I agree, ask for help. If no one helps after asking then you have a right to be annoyed
Your not being unreasonable for wanting help but they possibly might not know if you haven't asked for it, I'd maybe ask your mum if she could have the kids for a few hours for you?xx
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Thankyou ladies! I was feeling a tad irrational this morning and it turns out you were all totally right I just needed to ask, I rang my brother and he came round straight away and took care of the little ones all day :)
A lesson well learnt, never be to stubborn or proud to ask for help.
