I'm so sorry for your lose. Most doctors would want you to wait at least one cycle to make sure your body was able to heal. I had to wait a cycle before trying another fet after a chemical.

On another note, I have heard women say they got pregnant with twins right after a mc.

Thank you Fx!!!😁 I was really surprised when my dr said we were good to go. maybe because we had a u/s to confirm that my lining was good. Who l knows!! I just hope I'm one of the lucky ones who gets pregnant right away. It's been a long 4 years:(

@donn1419, Do you not ovulate on your own?

@beakymcspence I do but I feel like if they give me clomid I will possibly have more then one egg ovulate and a better chance.

@donn1419, RE’s generally don’t give out Clomid to people unless they don’t ovulate on their own. I know for us he would not prescribe it till he was satisfied we weren’t in fact ovulating to justify giving it to us. Every doctor is different so worth talking to yours about, but as a nurse I can say they may not offer it to you for that reason. Not everyone who takes Clomid releases more then one egg. I did our last cycle but that was on 150mg and our 6th cycle. None of our other cycles did I have more then one egg. When’s your next appt? I’d definitely bring it up with your doctor and see if it’s a good option for you!

I have done 3 rounds of IVF so I am hoping he will offer it just to appease me lol but you are right, my dr said it wouldn't do anything since i ovulate on my own. After 4 years he finally gave me progesterone....

@donn1419, It’s not really worth the risks if your already ovulating on your own. Are you going to do IVF again?

@beakymcspence my dr is confident we will get pregnant naturally so we'll try that for now and maybe in a few months we'l do IVF if we have to. But I'm praying we won't have to :)

@donn1419, Why did your doctor have you do IVF if he’s confident you’ll conceive naturally if you don’t mind me asking?

I guess because we had been trying already for over a year and had one chemical. And he thought that maybe IVF would provide more chances for me to sustain a pregnancy. It worked for my last fet but I mc at 10.5 weeks. I wasnt on progesterone suppositories though. When i did bloodwork to check my numbers when the hb wasn't found they noticed my hcg numbers were up but my progesterone was a little low.
