I planned on a vbac this pregnancy but I’m not progressing at all. I’m so sad. They will not induce me whatsoever because you stand A higher chance of having a uterine rupture. *thats what I was told by 3 separate dr.’s* so it looks like my baby wants to stay put. With my first I was at a 3by now. My second we never checked since he was too big I couldn’t try for a vbac. Size matters sometimes, they even struggled to get him out in my csection they had to call a second team in to help. I even tore on my incision because he was so big. Now this one they said it shouldn’t be a problem but I’m just not progressing! 😔
@lupitah1012 you can do it! Dont let them tell you that you cant! My biggest vaginal vbac was 10lbs 6.4oz she was huge!! I was even induced all 3 times (1 though I had no choice..she passed away from no fluids around her) but you can do it no matter how big or small baby is unless theres an absolute emergency that is life threatening to you and baby or baby is breached? You can do the vbac..dont let anyone tell you any differently..you got this mama always have faith in the Lord he will get you through it
I was going to but found out i have upper abdominal hernia so now im not allowed vbac. Which for real breaks my heart. Good luck if you are!!!
@lupitah1012 stay home as long as possible when labor starts (don't stay to long)
Exercise through your pregnancy. You need stamina.
Plan on not getting the epi. A lot of drs don't give vbac patients pitocin. Epi is known to slow labor.
Research natural induction methods and how early you can use them. Mind you not all induction methods are meant to put you unti labor so much as to prepare your body for it (like evening primrose oil and red raspberry leaf tea l
I want to try it but I’m not sure if they’ll let me
@rainbow.luvx2, sorry to hear that I hope you can keep going with your plans on vbac 😊
@blessed2018w9, any words of encouragement? I feel like for my first they really didn't let me try to labor and I would really like to try this time around 😊
I wanted to but sadly that may be changing... (due to problems with transportation right now)
Meeeeee :) I’m so determined since I was at 9cm with my daughter. I’ve been working out religiously and doing kegals endlessly
