Started my bubs on whole milk yesterday and today he had diarrhea twice. So far I’m doing 2oz whole milk 4oz formula. Should I reduce his whole milk intake to only one bottle a day? He doesn’t show any signs on discomfort. It’s just the diarrhea that has me worried.

nope ur fine on age! i started my daughter 2 weeks before she turned one. she had a litrle diarrhea because i would half & half it. i was super scared giving her just milk wouldnt work but i tried it one night & she loved it! diarrhea gone as well after that. i only give her 4oz of milk twice a day for both of her naps & then one bottle at night for bedtime. i give her 2% because she was a little overweight & now shes older doc gave the ok to start her on whole milk!
@mama_kat89, he turns one on Thursday and his pediatrician ok it to start implementing it to his diet.

It’s most likely the milk that’s doing it, I know there tummy’s need to adjust
Keep doing what your doing it will get better in time his tummy has to adjust. It can also be the stomach bug going around my son has diarrhea
It’s because you have him something other than formula it’ll get better
@babeylarissa, I was also thinking maybe that’s why he had the diarrhea because of the mixing it with formula. I’m just to scared to go full force with just milk even though he really liked the taste of milk he was downing it. Liam is actually skinny so I’m hoping the milk gets him a little fuller lol
