@jessig2006 oh wow! Yes she had to label you high risk! This is how my tests were covered. I can't believe you guys had to go through that given your history! Refusing to relable your test? I don't know momma I would be livid and feel like changing doctor's too!

@mom211n11 the insurance and my doctors office wouldn't do anything to help. I ended up calling the company that issued the test and they dropped by bill to $299 for completing a survey about their test. I was so upset with my doctor. Regretting going back to her now. She refused to relabel my test as high risk medically necessary. The lupus anticoagulant test was covered in full and ran as high risk medically necessary. It's not been what I've come to know and expect from her.

$50 is nothing! I was told because we were told to get genetic testing done (we lost our last baby to a genetic abnormality) that it would be 100% covered by insurance. Then I got an $1,100 bill in the mail!!!

Yea if you wait till the time which could be 18-20 week you don’t have to pay by if you wanna know early you do.

If you wait until 20 weeks, you shouldn’t have to pay out of pocket.
