Sahm’s when your hubby/SO gets home from work what’s expected of him ? Does he take the kiddos to give you some time? Does he help with any house work? Or does he just relax?

Most of the time he just relaxes, unless I need his help or need him to do something.

I give him some time to get changed and relax a bit then I hand him the baby so I can finish dinner. He cleans up the kitchen after dinner and irons his clothes for the next day. He plays with the baby and we watch a show and then to bed.

My husband can relax with his daughter..
Hahah! There is no more relaxing when we have an newborn..
I will let him get in the shower and then he will take her to relieve me. My newborn is an handful with colic so yeah I get no breaks he gets no breaks..
But we also have two older kids so when I get relieved from the newborn I try to make the time up with the older ones.. all in all it’s never ending at my house!

He eats dinner and relaxes and spends times with the kids.

When my boyfriend comes home from work he pretty much goes right into the shower and cleans up... Then he comes in the living room and relaxes but also plays with my son. I never really expect much from him other than helping me clean up the living room and kitchen after my son goes to bed.

My husband usually comes home, changes and then plays with our oldest and then offers to feed the baby. Then I make dinner and he usually, not always, but usually cleans up and then once the kids are in bed around 7:30ish, we get a good two hours to just unwind with each other. I try not ask of anything major until the weekend rolls around or he has a day off for major housework projects lol

My husband doesn't get home from work until 9 so the kids are already in bed. When he gets home he has dinner we watch a show together and then we both go to bed. On his days off though he does stuff with the kids and gives me a break. Usually my "break" though is catching up on housework that I can't do with the kids running around.
