Yes you can definitely leave them for a bit to do that! Get them interested in something and then say I’m going to put the baby down I’ll be right back! As long as your place is childproofed you will be fine!
I pretty much raised my neighbors kid started watching him when my youngest was 8 months and he was 10months and my oldest was turning 3 I think. Routine is a big thing we would watch him everyday from 9am to 6pm and routine is big we had breakfast then park lunch back to park etc. Don't worry I'm sure you will be fine
@brynsmommie my daughter turned two, so she would be there with her...I just didn't know if it's appropriate to leave them alone for a bit...but then again, using the washroom would require that as well. I think I'm just over thinking everything....
@brynsmommie I haven't arranged yet. Still looking for families that need my help...but I'm second guessing myself each time. I had one lady interested that is gonna use me for when she needs to run errands, her daughter's 22 months.
@pettybetty wow...I have no idea how you do it. I'm contemplating one kid...but what are you supposed to do if you have to put infant to sleep? Those 10 / 15 mins ...the baby needs quiet, but you can't leave the child unattended. This is the only thing I keep wondering about.
