I was always that one to be like, “what if I don’t know I’m contracting” or “no idea what they feel like” etc etc.. well I’m here to tell you - when they say you can’t walk or talk through them it’s true. Also, my skin feels like it tightens up and then is slowly ripped apart by knives on fire.
@melissaredfield87, they aren’t expecting him to come until after midnight. He’s being so stubborn! All these contractions and I’ve stayed at a four!!
@muxvil, well I ended up getting the epidural because I’ve been here for hours with Intense contractions and not progressing past a 4. It was fine for awhile but I’m glad I got the epidural. My poor husband seems relieved too haha.
@laniejay, wow that’s insane! I’m glad you didn’t have this pain. Very true in my case though!
@dmomma, omg you haven’t had your baby yet? I hate that pain! When I was in labor with my son I felt like someone was using pliers on both sides of me and pulling my hips apart half inch by half inch😫It was torture all I could do was scream and my doctor was like stop screaming and start pushing😂I really wanted to kick her in her face lol but somehow by the grace of God I managed to push him out naturally with no pain meds.. But I ended popping all the blood vessels on my face😞
Same! All I've felt are tightenings and just uncomfortable, but I told my doctor I couldn't feel contractions. I have a feeling I'm going to feel them with this baby. Now I'm scared lol Good luck!! 😀😀😀 @dmomma
I could walk and talk through mine. They didn’t take me seriously in L&D. I told them they better get me a room because my babies come quick and I was going to drop the baby on the floor. He came within 20 minutes of me being in the room😂
So anyways, don’t go by that saying. Regular and 5 mins apart.
@dmomma, ohhh I had the pain- I’ve just had enough of it in my life I can battle through. Hopefully he’s here now and you’re resting.
