Does anyone know how long a baby’s gums swell before a tooth pops through?

Could be weeks or days just depends. Having them chew tough things can help the tooth erupt.

@kambam, @raquely, his has been swollen for almost 4 months now 😭 I think it may be time for a dentist visit. I just wasn’t sure if it was normal for it to take so long. His other tooth came in quick

Does he have any teeth yet? Sometimes the first ones can take a long time

@raquely, i wish I had a clear pic..but it’s just a swollen bump and I can’t feel a tooth like I did with the other one

@raquely, and at one time it looked sorta bruised and I’m now reading that that is a bad sign so I’m gonna set him up an appointment tomorrow
