I always say bassinet next to our bed until baby can pull up and peak out. Then it's time for that good ol crib!

We used a bassinet connected to a pack n play

I really liked having the bassinet next to my bed. Unfortunately my son hated the bassinet so we moved him to his crib in his room. We used a pack and play or a swing for naptime and a crib for bedtime.

Crib for baby to sleep at night. Bassinet for day sleep out in the house, once out grown pack and play. We would skip bassinet but someone got us one that is really lightweight and nice for travel over the hefty pack and play and super easy to put together so we will use it to move up and down stairs (split level home) as well as when we are at other people's homes.

Pack n play instead of bassinet

The Chico lullago is a great bassinet. My son was 9 months before be outgrew it. He had 2 lbs left on weight limit, but was able to pull himself and stand so we quit using it.

Crib they grow out of a bassinet way too fast
