How do u make someone happy that seems like the only way they will be happy is with leaving?

You can't make them happy. They have to make themselves happy.

Let them leave. If they don’t wanna be there don’t force it.

We depend on others to make us happy and that’s just not how it goes. If you can’t make yourself happy then nobody can. It took me years to realize it.

Let them leave! Can't force someone to be happy if they think leaving is what will make them happy. Usually at that point there's no saving that relationship if that's only option.
