When my son stretches out in his car seat his feet hang over a little bit. Is it time to move to the big one? Or am I good for a little longer? Car seat moms I need help
Most of the time though he crosses his legs he never really stretches out though.

@unagie, idk it’s an Urbini car seat from Walmart.

As long as he still has 1” of space at the top above his head, feet hanging over is ok.

You’re fine as long as he’s in the limits (which I’m certain he is at 5 months)

The height max is usually around 31" or 32". I think it would be fine as long as he meets the requirements.

@masseymomma16, @squishymommy1, @laniejay, okay thanks ladies. My son is just growing in his legs more then his torso. So I wasn’t sure he has quiet a room above his head so we’re good then.
