@pumpernickel its a good size tattoo with a lot of color that required a lot of shading in and hurt soooo bad when i was having it done but idk how normal this pain is.

It’s not normal, especially if you have other tattoos and have not reacted this way. Minor swelling is fine, but what you described sounds much worse. I personally would not take any chances and would have it looked at by a doctor asap
