I just wiped down there and I’m bleeding bright red blood but I don’t feel any pain and the baby’s not moving right now…

I’m fine the bleeding was from dilation I’m dilated to a four

Same thing happened to me at 37 weeks. I went to L&D and the doctor on call said I was only 4cms dilated and that I was okay and to go home and “take is easy”...5 hours later I was in full blown labor lol. So I would definitely go get checked! Keep us updated

It’s the worst drive to the hospital not knowing what’s wrong and I’m still not there yet

@treymama, I called first too lol. Waited on hold forever and they said, um if you’re bleeding you need to go. It was a scary drive over to the hospital wondering what could be wrong.

@kirstin678, exactly !!! That’s why I called before going bc I didn’t wanna go and then find out it was false labor or something !!! I was 39 weeks though we I started to dilated 😩😩😩 but I was scared cuz I wasn’t even dilated the week before and then the next day I was 😩😭

@treymama, I never knew that was even a thing! I was shocked to see bleeding at 36 weeks and then hear that’s what it was from.

@mommyof1boyy, I didn’t ever hear of such a thing either (bleeding from dilating) until it happened to me. Ultrasound and tests and doctor said my bright red bleeding was because I dilated so quickly. Who knew?

@kirstin678, that’s what happen w me . They said I was finally 2 cms that’s why I was bleeding .

Happened to me! I was around 36 weeks and I had a bunch of bleeding. Went to labor and delivery and they found nothing wrong and no active labor so I was sent home. They said the bleeding was just due to dilating. I went from 1-3cm. The bleeding stopped and never came back. It sure was discouraging cause I thought surely I’d have my baby early, but nope! It was a long few weeks until I finally had her.

@treymama, bloody show shouldn’t be bright red and you don’t bleed when you dilate...

SHOULD NOT be bright red. Should have mucus and be a tint of red and some pink.

I lost my mucus plug, had contractions & I literally went to the er 7 x and they kept sending me home until that last time .I seen bright red blood and went in & they kept me. Delivered my son Christmas day

That was me too 😂😂, I called the hospital before going , then they asked if I was dilated I said no they said that can be it.. so I went to my appt the next day they said I finally dilated lol but I’d still go just to see ..
