Is this a UTI? Hi ladies. I've noticed a dark deposit in my son's diaper during the last few diaper changes. At first I was thinking that maybe it was just the skin shedding but I'm wondering if he has an UTI or if he's dehydrated. He doesn't have a fever and he has plenty of wet diapers. Pic in comments. Thoughts?

@ambrerumph1440 No problem. I don't think it's something that they are really aware of because it seems like it was more of a process of elimination since everything else seemed fine. It hasn't been in his diaper since that last time though.
@nellybamba right thanks for the update they should fore warn us about things like this glad he is ok
@ambrerumph1440 I called last night and the on call doc told me to make an appt for today. The doctor today checked him out and said that everything looks okay and that it could just be the skin sloughing off mixed with the diaper ointment I'm using. I'm still going to keep an eye on his temperature anyway.
@nellybamba Awwww yes I probably would call the Dr and let them know and see what they say just invade they need to see him
He was about 2 to 3 weeks old then at the time
@nellybamba did he get circumcised thats how my oldest diaper look at me being a first time mom I freaked out took him to the hospital and they stated it was from his circumcision
@kaym it looks like brick dust tends to be orange or red. This is more of a dark gray to blackish color. His actual urine is still clear. I'll probably call the on call line.

Diaper rash picture in comments!
My son has had a small little rash under his little sac for about 3 weeks now. I have been putting Desitin on it every diaper change. It feels very dry and it's hard. It has become bigger it started off like the size of a skittle now it's like the size of 2 quarters. I don't know what it is. He has an appointment on the 15th. Do any of you mommas have an idea I'm out of things to put on it.
