My boyfriend and I went through some really rough patches over the past few years, and although we have worked through all of our problems and issues together, and are in a much better place, my sister has made it clear that she doesn’t feel I’m making “the right decision” in my life right now, and obviously hadn’t forgiven him.
Yesterday I asked her to bring me to my appointment this morning, (I tend to get lightheaded after blood draws), and this was before she knew I was pregnant. She agreed at first, and as soon as she found out what the reason for the blood test was for, she decided she was unavailable and ignored me for the rest of the day. It really hurt my feelings. It felt selfish and rude.
I feel like I want to climb into a hole and not talk to anybody until after I find out what is going on.
I don’t like being judged either.
We have all made mistakes, and she is not perfect, but she seems to think it’s ok to pass judgement when it doesn’t fit her agenda, or whatever.
I’m sorry to vent this whole stupid story. I have nobody to really talk to about this besides my BF, and it’s just frustrating. *sigh*
Sometimes what goes on in your household you do not need to tell family because they start to look at the person like wtf are you still with him.. instead of accepting that people make mistakes you forgive him you can live with his mistakes and that’s all that matters but unfortunately we don’t live in a perfect world that it can be that way
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

@ke-ke, yes, unfortunately I have learned that the hard way. I try not to be judgemental towards my sisters choices, and yes, sometimes I disagree with them, but I know that it’s her life ultimately. There are few feelings worse than being “looked down on” by your own family.
