Is it possible for parents with hazel eyes and blue eyes to have a brown-eyed baby?

Yes, all sorts of variations are possible - you will never really know (unless you map your and your SO dna), it’s all based on DNA and recessive vs. dominant genes, same for hair color!

My kids Dad and I have both brown we have a bright blued eyed baby. The doctor said it was a 5% chance of it happening so I’m guessing you can get a brown eye with a hazel and blue...

@taylorsmommy1017 I'm not being rude. I choose my words very carefully when I comment on someone's post, unlike you who comes on everyone's post acting like a Dr. I said "I think" because we are taught that in HS, however, we all know that doesn't make it fact.

@taylorsmommy1017 That's why I said "I heard" and not here's a fact. 👍

I was told brown is always a possibility. But in order to have blue eyes one parent has to have blue.
