Here's her bio and general tips: Hello I am Ceiamaria I am a stay at home Mother to 4 children ages 12,8,7 and 11 months old. I am happily married for 12 years and we are still going strong. I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. So I'm going to start potty training my 16 month old tomorrow. Anyone have any techniques that would help her learn? She already knows how to take her pants off, her diaper off, and she already knows what&where; the potty is.
This week I’m going to start the potty training journey. I just pulled out her potty chair and she was so excited. I would love to hear any tips you have!!!

We started my daughter a few months after 2. She wasn’t developmentally ready before. She’s making good progress and we just got her first panties today! Every child is different. I think this would be better approached by your sister who is the main babysitter. Perhaps she recommends they get a little potty and she will work with her? We let our daughter run around naked, because she runs to the potty on her own. She has more trouble when she has a pull up on.
