My dog is in labor with her puppies and she's is panting. I have her in her welping box I have water for her also. I'm so nervous about this. I've never experienced this before with a dog. Any advice? Can I leave her here and go to sleep? I'm so tired. Dose she need my help?

Stay with her. You need towels. You need to allow her to do her thing but absoluetly dont leave her for sleep lmao. Mine is preggo too.

Go on youtube and search for a video. God forbud she doesnt clean them so thsy can breath (rare but still it wull break your heart if you leave and come back and something bad happened or god forbid the poor thing goes into medical distress

Ive had many batches of puppies growing up from different dogs, as long as waters available id let her do her thing, she knows what to do! And you hovering her might make her more stressed :/ if youre very tired just set an alarm and try to check on her every 30 minutes an hour, theres really nothing you can do for her and like i said im sure shes your baby but it might bother her more especially if she can sense youre worried about it! Lol just do not touch the babies unless if you feel you 100% have to especially while shes still in labor, once shes done leave her be with her pups for a few hours before you bother her/them, contact too early will also stress her out and you really want to avoid that while shes still in labor and after because shes gonna be excited and tired but probably will be like many dogs and get really stressed if you touch one of her pups too soon! Also make sure water/food is not too close to her and the babies she might not be interested for a few hours anyways but shell know when shes hungry/thirsty to get up and get it after a day i would keep water around but move food back to orginal spot after a day or 2 unless if she refuses to leave her puppies, but she will want time away and potty and food is her safe escape to relax, but do make sure there will be water and food where it usually is if you plan on sleeping for 8 hours or so, she probably wont touch it but shes not going to be use to the new spot so better have one close and in original spot (: post a pic of the pups after and best of luck to you guys♡

@kendrab can I private message you?

But also the pool seems a little small so id probably put a towel outside of it incase she decides thats not a comfortable spot for her, cause shes gonna want more room by her rump so she can clean and babies can move away better.. she might not move but i know you wont want that mess on the carpet if she decides to

Best wishes! I’m glad @kendrab, was here to give you detailed advice. Can I see the puppies when they are born?

@kalidream aww, I totally understand. I don't feel well so I'm leaving her in her own space and checking on her.
