When did people first hear baby's heartbeat? My first appointment is next Thurs will they do it then?x

I heard at 16 weeks. She just couldn’t confirm if it was definitely each baby (but they did sound different) x

I think I heard the heartbeat at 22 weeks, some won't do it at 16weeks now incase they can't pick up a heartbeat even though everything is fine it causes unnecessary stress x

Some midwives do it at 16 weeks but a lot of midwives are waiting until around 24 weeks now. X
