Pregnancy weeks and months are so damn confusing!!! 🙃 I'll be 22 weeks tomorrow, am I 5 months of am I 6 months pregnant?!?!? 🤷🤰 Which time frame do you Mama's go by?!?!?
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I am 17 week a week from 5 months , is anyone carrying little ? I don't look 5 months 🙀

Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

@vanessa89breanne of course. It was super confusing to me at first when I saw all the posts but then I remembered that what I am teaching is different from what I learned my first years of college and asked the ob and she told me what I told you above. :) and yep, congratulations! 😀

It's different for different ob offices. Some still go by the old way which would mean your 3rd trimester starts at 28 weeks....however, the newer break down that some have transitioned to (the one we teach in child and adolescent development now for about 3 years) says the 3rd trimester starts at 27 weeks. And the chart is like this image...my OB follows the new chart over the older one.

@vanessa89breanne, Yes, its like birthdays. If I have an 18 month old, he's currently in his second year of life but he's not 2 years old until he actually reaches 24 months. So you can say he's 2 and a half years old. It makes sense if you think about it that way! So you can say you're about 5 and a half months pregnant. It's confusing for a lot of people so I always just tell people how many weeks I am.

Every calendar seems to look different which is confusing. You're 5 months pregnant though because you've completed 5 months of pregnancy. You're currently working towards completing your 6th month.

Its confusing to me too lol i go by months lol so i consider myself 6months and im 24weeks
