I know this is an odd question, but has anyone ever gotten pregnant with multiples while taking clomid?? Im asking because my mother is an identical twin, and this upcoming cycle im using clomid and black cohosh to hopefully conceive (fingers crossed!)

Ok so since I was curious I looked into this quickly so I could be wrong but I see that clomid twins is 5-10 percent chance while those without Clomid is a 1.2% chance of twins

One of my friends got fraternal twins from clomid.

Yes like @masseymomma16 said fraternal are genetic from the mothers side only and happen from hyper ovulation. I do believe clomid (and other fertility drugs) can cause hyper ovulation to happen. Identical twins happen when a fertilized egg splits. It's all very fascinating to me lol I am full of random useless information lol

Fraternal twins is genetic. So having Identical twins is just random.
