I second literally everything @Emmaof2 said.

All 4 of my babies have coslept. Right next to me in their own blanket, my blanket under my arms. Arm around baby (some of my kids liked sleeping on my arm, some needed to be flat on the bed) so my hubby isnt anxious about hurting them. Switch side to side to evenly feed from each breast.

I love cosleeping, and this being our very last one makes me cherish all the baby snuggles. I'm too busy during the day to just sit and soak in the snuggles so night time is my only time.

I do! Im a very light sleeper and bed is pretty big, so i just wake up with every little movement or noise...i have a protection on the bed sides so baby doesn’t fall and that’s it ;)

That's how I am too! I'm usually not a light sleeper but whenever there's a baby around, I am lol. Any little movement or sound she makes, I'm like instantly awake. Must be a momma thing

Oh okay! I've thought about having her sleep in that too and then did it research... nope. Some people do it for night sleeping but I just couldn't sleep with knowing the risks! Lol I guess I'll enjoy the cuddles now. I know it won't last forever.

We only co sleep when he gets the hiccups, which is alot lately since he can't sleep and it takes forever for them to stop. We have a bassinet for the bed ? that or a breast feeding pillow ontop of the blankets

I didn’t co sleep until my baby was over a month old. Then he would sleep in the crook of my arm so that I could feel him. Then I bought a co sleeper for in the bed. Made me more comfortable having him in that then just by my side. Still tried to have him sleep on his own most of the time.

I've co-slept with all of my kids and will with this one again. I don't know how people get any sleep if they don't. I usually just sleep on my side with the baby next to me and the blankets pulled down under my armpits so they can't get in their faces. And my arm kind of around them so my husband couldn't roll on the baby. I always have a night light so I can see them in the dark. And I flip the baby from one side to the other so I can switch boobs. I always say I sleep with one eye and two ears open. I love sleeping with a fresh baby, it's one of my favourite things.

Yes. We use a baby nest/cot that goes inside the bed first. But I haven’t had said baby yet just what I did with my six year old. Baby sometimes still sleeps other places too like swing or bouncer or just in the arms the first three months. I’ll keep baby in the cot probably until they are 4-6 months only because when I have my daughter here she still sometimes gets into my bed.

I’ve bedshared with my other kids and said this time I wasn’t going to do it again but for me to get any rest to function I have to. She eats every two hours and until she goes longer in between feedings I’m not even bothering with my cosleeper bassinet. I’m in a spare bedroom for now because my other kids still end up in our bed during the night and don’t want to take any chances. The bed is flush up against the wall. I don’t use pillows and only a blanket on me but it’s down below my waist and I swaddle the baby but with arms out.

Right now, since McKenna refuses to sleep in her pack n play, I have her sleeping with me in bed and I usually sleep with my arm out and her head on my arm. No pillows and blankets by her. I sleep so lightly with a newborn so I hear and wake up from any little noise from her or movement. I'm going to probably buy the swaddleme cosleeper, and even try putting it in her pack m play cause I believe her problem is not wanting to lay flat, but if that doesn't work, I'll obviously keep her in the cosleeper, in bed.

I don’t if I can avoid it but if that’s the only way my baby will sleep I put them on my side of the bed (the co sleeper is next to the bed so she can’t fall off) and have no blankets up and lay on my side with my arm above her head so I can’t roll.

Some nights my baby sleeps in bed, since I never move while sleeping she sleeps on a blanket with her head on my arm so that I can consciously feel her all the time

I’d like to follow this. Always wondered how other mommies did it too! I’m past due and have bought a co sleeper thingy but idk how I feel about it yet.
