What's a natural way to relieve acid reflex? I'm going crazy! I literally never had it until I was pregnant with this baby.

I love natural solutions usually, but I opt for Zantac with pregnancy heartburn. It totally works for me, and often I find the HB may not come back again for several days or longer after Ivtake it.

I've tried everything under the sun I could possibly think of. Then my hubby got an idea. Sometimes you have too much acid in your stomach so you need to balance out your pH levels. Get more alkaline into you. He looked up different things online and found a mixture of spoonful of parsley with water. I swear by this, my heartburn went away within minutes and I was able to finally sleep. It was so bad we almost went to the ER I was in so much pain. Everyone is different with what they can take. I hope you get relief. Good luck!

For me I use tums, I can't drink the baking soda and water, it makes me sick. Also just a few bites at a time of what ever I'm eating, especially this late in the pregnancy, I can only eat small amounts at a time if I don't want my heartburn to get really bad. Milk, definitely if you tolerate it, don't use skim, it won't help, something about the fat, calcium and protein help calm the acid. Also don't go without eating, an empty stomach can make it as bad as an over full one. Good luck, and comfort for all of us at the end!

My mom tells me to drink apple cider vinegar - I haven’t tried it yet because the taste is horrible but maybe it could work for you lol

Yeah, I know it's not my diet either cause I could eat toast and get it!! Thank you though ladies ☺ I'll try milk to start out with.

I'm taking zantac. Also at night you should sleep propped up.. I'm using a wedge pillow with my pregnancy pillow. Also a couple bites of ice cream in the middle of the night help!

When I am pregnant I create extra acid. It starts the day I find out to the day I deliver... no joke! This is my third baby and I’ve had it so severe with all of them my doctor has to prescribe me an actual acid blocker/reducer. If not, even water hurts to drink. I would try tums. If not, ask your doctor about something stronger.

It’s not necessary your diet I got bad acid reflux from eating crackers once which has no acid in it what so ever . I’m taking Zantac and tums and drinking milk when need . It’s just all the muscles relaxing plus baby’s position doesn’t help

Baking soda mixed in a glass of water. Its safe, natural, and has never failed me.

Change your diet! I’ve posted about this here before. Avoid all citrus foods and tomatoes/tomato products. Will take a few days to see results but it’s the best way to remove the pain of reflux. I use tums when I can’t avoid it.

Milk is the only natural way I can think of. Tums always works wonders for me. I had terrible heartburn from the moment I found out I was pregnant until I delivered my first. Luckily it hasn’t been nearly as bad this go around.

My midwife suggested papaya enzyme. I’ve also found my is somewhat triggered by food and baby position.
