how many scans are you having?

My hospital must be scan happy! Or maybe because my insurance allows for it. I'll have at least 4, but maybe more. I haven't asked about further along down the line. That being said, my friend is an ultrasound tech, so I'll continue with my cheeky unofficial scans the whole way ?

I had a heavy "period" and went in to be checked out. I got some blood work and found out I was pregnant. Then had a ultrasound the next day to make sure it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy. When I got the ultrasound, I found out I was indeed pregnant and was 7 weeks along. So, that was my first scan. Then I got another one at 8 weeks. I'm currently at 11 weeks. My next scan is scheduled for week 13 and another one at week 20.

Wth my other 3 kids only 2 but this ob does a dating scan, another gender scan at 15 weeks another scan at 20 and another at 32 to check growth so 4 all together

I get a dating scan and then my anatomy scan that's it. It sucks but then again I count myself lucky to not have complications requiring more scans.

I had a dating scan at 5w3d and then again at 7w. I had my NT scan at 12w4d and we get another scan between 18-20 weeks and a growth scan around 32 weeks. I'm in Australia and that's normal for us, sometimes we get more depends if they can get all the measurements.

I had a dating ultrasound about 6 weeks and another because they had to confirm I had appendicitis and got a baby sneak peak at almost 9 weeks. My next will be 19 weeks and I don't think any after that unless I go overdue which is very probably and sometimes they'll give me a little sneak peak. I'm hoping to pay for a 3D this time cause I've never done it and would love my kids to be able to see their sibling :)

First pregnancy no risks at all I had an ultrasound every appointment I had.

My provider's standard is two for normal pregnancies:8 weeks and 20 weeks. They do more if there are concerns or if mom is high risk.

I had a dating scan at (7 weeks) had one the other day(12w)1D at the doctors office because they couldn't find the heartbeat on the droppler and she said my next ultra sound isn't until 20weeks which she had me book already . Looooong wait but I can't remember anything from my first son I thought I had 3 idk!

I was only supposed to have 1 at 20wks but because I was having some cramping and spotting I was able to have one at 6w1d.

I get mine every 2 weeks bc of high risk

I had a dating scan at 7 weeks, then had another scan when I got tested for Zika, then another for my NT scan. Just found out I have start getting an ultrasound every ten day now because I'm producing lupus antibodies. Not really comfortable subjecting my baby to all these ultrasounds but I would hate for something to happen that could be prevented. With my first two kids, I had a confirmation of pregnancy scan, the NT scan, and then the anatomy scan at 20 weeks and that was it.

My Dr only does one for dating and one for anatomy unless he's concerned about something. I'll be getting 3 this time because my first was at a clinic where I just got an ultrasound I didn't see a Dr.

I had one scan at 7 weeks. I have another at 11w4d. Then I have another at 16 weeks. And another at 20 weeks. Not sure if there's one after that.

I got one at 5 1/2 weeks because of bleeding. One at 7 weeks for my first appointment (dating scan). One at 9 weeks because of bleeding. I believe my next and last one will be at 20 weeks but that all depends on if they can find the heart beat with the doppler at my next appointment on Aug 8th.

I got one at 5 weeks bc I had back pain they ruled out etopic , than I had my dating scan at 7 weeks , at 10 weeks I had brown blood so I got another , and next week I have my 12 week scan

I got one scan but I will only get one more hopefully. Too many scans are just unnecessary imo.

I've had about 7 scans so far because I'm high risk , my next 3 ones are on Tuesday from my OB and the other one for the Nuchal translucency test and a 3D SCAN that will be done at 14 weeks to confirm the gender.
