I noticed my son has some sort of hair loss... little middle small bold spot is a scar.. but I’m worried about the other parts.. is that normal?? I noticed it maybe about 3 months or so ago I thought the barber had maybe trimmed a little more than he should but no it’s still there... same spots are always kinda bold... should I be concerned ?

@casanovaivette2711, I would just wait 🤷🏻♀️ if it’s not itching, hurting or swollen then it’s really not a huge deal.
@kjuckniess10, yeah it just came pretty random and has been there, I’ll definitely be bringing it up. Now idk if I should wait for his physical this coming month or make an appt before to get it check out.. doesn’t seem to be bugging him or anything.
As a hair stylist myself I’ve noticed a lot of younger kids with this. I don’t think it’s something to freak out about, maybe get a doctors opinion though? Could be an allergy to something he is eating ?

@casanovaivette2711, i hope that helps! My baby boy was shedding hair cus of the way I was holding him and now I'm more aware of my arms rubbing and pulling theses hairs while I breasted. And a Boppy is shaped like a giant arm lol. If you don't see a difference then maybe show the pics to his pediatrician next time.
@floralfairy, honestly never went through my mind that the pillow could be the reason why it’s like that.. I’m gonna take it away he loves sleeping on it. I’m sure he will be fine tho. Thanks girl I appreciate it!
@casanovaivette2711, yeah girl that boppy pillow may have him rubbing or putting friction in that area. I can imagine if he sits into it that "U" shape would hit that same area I see formed along the missing hair.

It’s probably alopecia. Sometimes our hair gets thrown off, for whatever reason and starts shedding (balding) but it’ll right itself. But definitely talk to a doctor since I am not one. Lol.
Yeah, he got a haircut last week.. but even when his hair grows it’s still patchy in those spots
