the fact that there are pregnant women out here drinking castor oil to induce labor thinking its safe whew chile...or even worse women encouraging other pregnant women to drink castor...omg im gonna have a heart attack😩💔
@damnkmar, this is very true. Patience is key even when it feels like you have a bowling ball sitting in your vagina. Let them cook as long as they can.
@sam.momx5, yeah but the point we’re trying to make is that its dangerous
I tried it with 3 of my babies and nothing happened with my last baby I said screw it and left him alone. IMO baby will come when they decide to. Not when you get impatient.
@damnkmar, ugh I can’t believe people do this it is extremely dangerous especially for your baby, I am so glad I had the common sense during pregnancy because I also had people tell me to do castor oil but I was like ha! No! Absolutely not happening ever!
@amberjacq, yes and then its almost like when you tell them they dont care or brush it off like its mo big deal i think the part thats kore infuriating for me is the ignorance
@knockout, Was she mentally ill? Because that is something a crazy person would do!
Do they know it can cause them to have horrible diarrhea and the diarrhea can cause them to dehydrate and dehydration can cause them to get infection, and both dehydration, and infection can cause them to be rushed to the hospital in really bad shape, I got slightly dehydrated during my pregnancy once and I had to go to the hospital, and get IV fluids, and from getting slightly dehydrated it caused me to get an infection which I had to take medication for so I honestly couldn’t imagine how bad it would be to be severely dehydrated because that is what castor oil can do so many women have lost their children and their own lives from this
It’s so sad to think anyone would ever do that knowing the consequences. I could never do that.. it’s scary to even think anything happening to my baby just because I’m “uncomfortable” should of never gotten pregnant. deal with it!
@penelope127, thats a really good question, women are letting their impatient ways really get the best of them and its costing them their child, its honestly not worth it
Castor oil is so dangerous to take to try to induce labor. With information on the internet so easily available why aren’t people googling the risks on taking it before they do it?
@drewsmom_, castor oil is still extremely dangerous im happy it “helped” you but that shouldnt be anything you recommend to anyone especially without including that the risk of drinking castor oil is literal fetal/infant death
@phoebesmommy, I know that no matter what I do my body isn’t going to go into labor until it is good and ready to I deleted the post and the other posts cuz I’m tired of people trying to attack me when in reality no matter if I was trying to induce ur body/baby is going to come when ready. Everyone arguing with each other is childish and I just ended it by deleting the post
@nikki9109, I’m just tagging you here bc I tried to respond to your post and it was deleted.
so I didn’t see your posts but maybe you’re just talking?? Is there anything you’re doing to actually induce labor?? Having sex is fine, unless your high risk. Anyways I’m not trying to attack you and I hate that ppl are coming on here making it ab B.B. vs ML wars bc the main point is just IF you are trying to induce labor, you ought to know there could be major risks involved. A lot of people don’t know these things
my cousin keeps telling me to do it im like your baby can literally die everybodys excuse is always “it worked for me” that shit is so dumb just because it “worked” doesnt make it right @shay2beautiful,
When I was 17 pregnant with my first (young and stupid) born I tried it...smh...long story short..he was blue and limp when born he had a bm inside me and swallows way to much..the doctor told my mom and boyfriend (husband now) to turn my head away and called code blue took them 3min to bring him back...lesson learned for me and I've had (pregnant w my 9th now) more babies and not once reconsidered it again...I lost him that day in 1998 for those 3min...hes almost 20 now and thank God every day for him..I was supervised and only took 1tsp...smh it's not worth it...smh just-not worth it
Girl I know. This lady comment on my little cousin status and told her to drink castor oil to induce labor. I told her to please try anything except for castor oil!!!
They need more time introducing themselves to helpful warnings instead of inducing.
im not even trying to induce im pretty sure nothing is going to work for me😭😭so im just a when the time comes the time comes type of person
@dmomma, yes you eat the cores 😂 the day before my sons due date I was at my Drs apt and just had a sweep and had a 2hr drive home. So we went to HyVee and bought pineapple 😂😂 I didn’t wanna get all the way home and go into labor the next day
@dmomma, Totally good if that’s your purpose. Sorry I should have been more direct. Ladies trying anything and everything to induce themselves way early. Thinking that inducing early is okay as long as it’s a natural way.
@damnkmar, I’m not sure. I think you have to eat a lot including the core??? Hahah I’d ask someone else because I don’t like pineapple.
@knockout, I don’t think that’s bad though? People workout or do yoga on the balls through out their pregnancy. It strengthens your back muscles.
@dmomma, as long as they are full term. I see ladies 32 weeks bouncing on yoga balls
@dmomma, wait i been seeing alot of this pineapple method, i enjoy pineapples, do tell, im listening
You can do other things that will do no harm! Birthing balls, sex, eating pineapple (🤮🤢), etc. it makes no sense to make it almost to your due date and then put your baby in danger like that.
@skymomof4, yeah she hated me for some reason for like the first 5 years of dating her son. She’s finally become a normal person now, but I had a whole list of things she did back then.
@damnkmar, she would make my plate and bring it to me (me thinking she was being polite since I had back problems + huge belly) but she was putting it on my plate only.
@knockout, why was she doing that? to purposely induce you or was she using it as some sort of laxative for herself?
@emily526, me too😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭i just be like lemme scroll past it and stfu
When I was pregnant with my first I had to stop eating meals at my MILs house because she would put it in the food. Not even kidding, I caught her once. I was like 30 Weeks
@damnkmar Lol I have to stop myself from commenting on things sometimes because I'd be like girl you and your cousin both dumb AF.
I agree! It takes time to make a baby! I see ladies trying to induce labor left and right 😱 terrifying
@emily526, its HORRIBLE on facebook and then when you tell them the dangers they just go “oh well it worked for my cousin” ppl can be so naive
Someone recommended me that. That’s back in the day shit. I’m never drink that. Hell I don’t know where to buy it or even the side effects
