I am furious right now! So my MIL planned a trip to Kings Island with all her kids and grandkids...and all the parents think they are leaving me with three toddler all under the age of 2 plus my 2 year old because I can’t ride any rides! Uhhh High risk pregnancy here so let’s leave me with 4 toddlers all because I’m pregnant? And they are all mad and saying I refuse to pull my weight in the family and told my husband I’m not going! PERIOD! So he’s mad at me now 🙄

That is rude to just assume you would watch that many toddlers plus being high risk without asking.

They aren’t your kids. It’s not your responsibility to watch them. Your health is more important than a trip to kings island and your husband is being a jerk. They said you can’t go? Definitely don’t watch their kids.

Wow, That is soooo wrong of them. And to say u don’t pull ur weight in the family...like wtf...they are not ur kids. They decided to have kids so they are their own parents responsibility. I woulda cursed them out and then cursed my husband out. Don’t make a trip with kids if ur gonna pawn them off to someone else! Sorry ur going through this.

I hate when ppl volunteer services on behalf of someone else. U can try to turn it around and spend some time with the kids and they remember u n love u forever too but I totally get it. I turned them down when they did it to me lol

If no one seems to care about you being high risk if they are aware of it then why should you care about watching their kids. Sounds like to me you was just invited just to watch the kids why they enjoy their independent freedom time. Ppl only think about themselves don't stress or worry yourself about this an your husband should be the first to be understanding an let them know that that's not your responsibility to do especially unexpectedly.

@mikidsfirst, that was my thought process on it I’m annoyed but when I talked with my husband he finally understood and told them that he will talk to them about me not watching them but I still don’t want to go because I’m not suppose too lol I rather not risk a preterm labor

@paigerue2013 I'm glad he understands now communication is key to all relationships an for him to see it the way you do now is awesome 😊 An yes I most definitely agree with you I wouldn't risk a preterm labor either just use that day to catch up on rest an just video chat them with fun.

@mikidsfirst, i like that idea!! Lol and it takes him time when he doesn’t like to hear something and once he calms down he talks to me lol normal male mind I think lol
