Seen dr after my glucose test, weight was good, blood pressure was good, and swelling was good, but the baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead. Could this mean I have gestational diabetes or just a big baby? I never measured ahead with my last pregnancy and he was 8lbs 1oz born at 38+6.
I measured two weeks ahead and he came out 7lbs3oz....I'm 5'1" too and was borderline gestational diabetic. But I don't consider 7lbs big.....but it could be different for you. Just saying, it doesn't always mean u will have a big baby
I have bigger babies 8+ lbs and 1 measure 2 weeks ahead. My Dr says it's because my baby is bigger then the average.
measuring ahead
Anyone else measuring ahead?

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️
Does measuring ahead mean im further along or baby is just big?
Dr said I am measuring 2 weeks ahead..
What does it mean when a baby is measuring a week ahead?
So for mommies that have had babies already when you measured ahead did they induce you? Since I'm measuring 4 weeks ahead I was wondering if I'd be induced.
@newlywedmama21, thank you I don’t consider 7 lbs big either, I’d be fine with that lol!
