I'm nervous about how my dogs going to react to the baby, I've read a ton on introducing scents and creating clear boundaries. Does anyone have success stories to ease my anxiety?

I gradually eased both girls as newborns in the room with my dogs and then called for my dogs slowly. They just sniffed my daughters and went on with their business after curiosity wore off. I have two golden retrievers. They are loving and protective of my daughters.

We just brought our youngest home and introduced him to the dogs one by one. From the second my German Shepherd met him, he's been his little person. This dog is so protective and gentle with my kids, especially my youngest.

When my son was born we brought his blankey in the room first for him to sniff then we brought baby. We let him sniff all around the carseat. It went great my pit loves my son. They're best of friends. Everytime he is fussy our dog comes right up to him and lays close to him. He's so protective over Theo

We just laid a blanket on the floor and put my daughter on it. The dog wasn’t allowed on the blanket but she would lay as close as she possibly could. I started out laying on the floor next to my dog until I knew I could trust her.
