Moms that have a baby around 2-3 weeks please help me... how much milk is ur baby drinking and how often????

Mine is 2 weeks and drinks 2 oz every 2-3hrs

@driastewart,right.. idk if it’s cause she’s trying to catch up from being 4 weeks early or what.. but I’m drained lol and my 3 yr old drives my last nerve lol love her tho

@mckinney032589, aw that’s how my baby girl is at night. I swaddle her up then she’s ok for a few hours.. I feel for you though, every hour would kill me lol

@driastewart, and she just wants to be held.. I literally can’t do anything... cries until I pick her back up

@driastewart, she drunk the 3oz with no problem but still seemed to wake up a lot.. like every hour- hour and a half lol

My son is a week old and he drinks anywhere from 3 oz to 4 oz every 3 to 3 hours. He really isn’t a pacifier baby either. I just kinda knew he wasn’t satisfied after those 2 oz bottles.

@mckinney032589, it could be very possible she’s growing. Maybe give her 2 oz make sure she’s good and burped well. And wait like 15 mins. And then give her another oz if she’s still hungry. Will she take a pacifier? It could be that she also wants to just comfort suck too.

Try pace feeding and burping more often like every half ounce. They also go thru growth spurts and cluster feeds

@db413, right she was doing 2 oz every 2 but now she’s drinking that almost every hour.. screams for more

Maybe 1-2 oz every 2-3 hours. Is what they should be drinking.
