Would you rather your 14 year old daughter telling you she's gay or that she's pregnant? How would you react to either?
@segaciouslady, well I'm glad that you are one of those people that are open minded about homosexuality. But I can tell you as a woman married to a woman and as a mother of children that have 2 moms, not all people are as accepting. So I don't see how this question is dumb.
@segaciouslady, The thing is I had a friend who got pregnant at 14 and gave birth at 15. She went on to get her first degree and then her masters. Her son is very intelligent and now in college. She is now in a healthy relationship and pregnant with her third child.
If you have a strong and supportive network having a child is not the end. What if you make your 14 year old daughter abort that child and later when she is “of age” she tries for a child and cannot conceive? What if that child was her only hope of having her own child?
Its not an ideal age, but children are not guaranteed to us all.
Oh gosh you’re one of thooooose people. Of course I’d rather her tell me she’s gay since there is absolutely nothing wrong that but getting pregnant at that age would ruin her life. This is the dumbest question I’ve seen in a looooong time.
I would have rather that she waited until she was much much older but it happens but the day she told me she was pregnant I would have rather that she told me she was gay
Well I'm a mother of six and I have two girls and my oldest daughter is 19 going on 20 and the youngest is 12 going on 13😏 and I would rather them tell me that they're gay then they're pregnant😔 because my older daughter got pregnant at 16 had my Awesome Grandson at 17 and don't get me wrong she is a awesome mother but I would rather rated
Don’t think wither would bother me. I’d be glad she’s fertile LOL! Obviously I wouldn’t tell her that LOL!
And if she gay what can I do? As long as shes happy and safe live your life baby girl.
Her being gay wouldn't be an issue AT ALL. Her being pregnant is another story and totally different.
Gay wouldn’t be an issue. Pregnant at 14 my reaction would be shock and disappointment in my own parenting.
My daughter telling me she’s gay is like her telling me her favorite color is blue. Nothing wrong with that actually I would be happy for her to have figured out how she loves so young. No that ass come home telling me she’s pregnant at 14 THATS an issue lol but I would support her and we would figure it out together
As a parent, I would love for my children to come forward and feel free to trust me, to tell me things rather than hiding it from me. I had my son at 14 and I could never tell my mom cause I was raising myself and my siblings. It would be hard to take either but that’s why we are parents to help our children grow and to support them in all ways!
If she said she was gay, that's fine... It's being pregnant that would concern me..
Gay not at all. Love is love!
14 and pregnant I would do every I could to support my child and the baby. There would be a serious talk about being responsible and how this will change everyone's life. Would it be hard? of course! But I wouldn't ever want my child to feel like they needed to hide anything from me.
Gay, bi, pan, trans, whatever, I want my kids to be happy. But if one of my kids were pregnant or got someone pregnant at 14 ohhhhmygod. Though I'd be supportive as possible still, your ass wants to play grown then let's play grown and fill out job applications, because I can't afford to raise grandbabies too.
@honeyxxbee, nothing lol op is married to a woman. I think she’s just curious what others think
I wouldn't care if my child is gay. 14 and pregnant, we gonna have some words.
What would you do with $25,000
If you received an extra $25,000. What would you do with it? ?
MIL to be called "mama"?
Would that be okay with you?
So I found out my friend has herpes. She's known awhile and she's been around my baby since birth. Herpes is fatal to infants. How would you have reacted?
plastic surgery
If you could have any procedures done, what would they be?
others baby wearing
Do you (or would you) allow someone else to wear your baby?
