So yesterday my sister and I made an effort to go visit my grandpas wife since it’s been a week since he passed. We both felt like she thought because he was gone that she wasn’t going to see us anymore so we got her a nice framed picture of my grandpa and Maddox and had a short visit with her.
Today my dad told me that she’s telling everyone that we went out there probably hoping to get some of his money! Like wtf. Not at all the case. I’m honestly so insulted that she thought we would do that. Now I don’t want to go out there at all.

@laniejay, not very often. But I just would never dream that she would think so little of us to assume we wanted money.

I would go right back to her, kindly tell her that my visit was nothing but good intentions, that she can keep her damn money, leave and never see her again.

I agree with @mojobebe. I’d call and tell her she can keep her damn money, you were trying to be nice and she burned a bridge.

@lex_6, yea I’m not planning on making a big scene about it. I’m just going to let it go. But she’s known me my whole life so it really bothers me that she thinks we’re those kind of people
