DS’s Birthday Party was a success, despite the fact we were rained on for half the party. He had a friend sleep over last night. Now to cleaning the house and recouping from yesterday. Hope y’all are having a great day :)

I need your opinions.
So this weekend was my sons 6th birthday. He was at his dads for the weekend, so when he came home today I asked how his weekend was. He tells me it went okay, but he was a bit sad. When I asked him why he told me his dad didn’t get him anything for his birthday. I brushed it off as maybe my ex split on something with his mom or whatever, and tried to downplay the issue with my son so he wasn’t so upset.
