At some point, I started failing at parenting. I don't know when but I don't know how I ended up with a 4 yo that I have daily anxiety when he wakes up because I know the daily battle is starting.

@newlyironman, there are safe meds for breastfeeding. My sister actually just went over them with her doctor as she is ttc. Might be worth it for a bit.
@laniejay I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder. I take adderall to help with that and my adhd but I'm breast feeding
4 year olds are tough. I look like a crazy lady walking around saying two things.
1. You’ll miss this one day
2. He’s not giving me a hard time, he’s having a hard time.
Four can be very very challenging. You’re not failing since you still care and haven’t given up. If it’s serious anxiety, have you spoken with a doctor?

Is it a four year old thing? My 4 year old and I butt heads daily especially since we are trying to potty train. It’s a nightmare. You didn’t fail. Some kids are just harder than others.
I’m sorry you’re struggling. But does not mean you failed at parenting! Maybe try the peaceful parenting group. They may be able to help

My daughter will be 4 in 2 months and most days she acts like she hates me. It's tough. And draining.
