My husband chooses not to go out. He has his friends over at our place occasionally, but that's about it.

@amaperalta03, that’s a good question, for the most part.. yes. I finally had to sit down and have a heart to heart with him about coming home at a decent time, which it took some perspective to see if from my side. And since then he makes much more of an effort to either be home at a decent time or let me know where he’s at if he’s not home by that time. And he doesn’t drink nearly as much as he did several years ago.

We have issues with it every now and then, but for the most part, NOW, I trust him.

I wouldn't mind but if he spends more time with his buddies and not with me and the kids, then I'll have a problem. But other than that idc where he goes. We all need a day away from our partners.

I think I only ever have issues when he comes rolling in at like 3am or doesn’t communicate with me about what is going on. Plus, my husbands friends have a tendency to get shit faced which in turn can lead to him coming home stupid drunk and throwing up everywhere. There was only one time I told my husband I didn’t want him going out and it was solely because I was exhausted from being with the kids all day and needed a break. He was mad at me, BUT he had gone out the prior week.

With that said, I completely trust me husband. I’ve never worried about him straying when out.

@leowifey, if i ever feel in my mind that i have to worry myself when my boyfriend is out then that alone shows this relationship needs to end. I sleep like a baby when he goes out cause i honestly trust him so i never ever worry myself one bit. If a man really wants to cheat he can cheat any time and any where it doesn’t always have to be Saturday night out at the bar with his friends

@amaperalta03, it’s a mutual respect thing. Plus we are too old lol. He wouldn’t want me to go so the same is for him. 5+ years ago, we used to go together all the time.

I completely agree. It feels like a foreign language to see people trash on their SOs. I understand a minor rant here and there, but to distrust the person you're with to that extent... I just don't understand. You are CHOOSING that relationship every day you stay in it. So... 🤷🏻

@alysia.alysia, i totally agree a coworker does the same with her husband and i was flabbergasted. Yes we’re in a committed relationship but again we are individuals and deserve our alone time

My dh is going on a guys trip in August. He also has guys night. 2 rules where he can’t go, club and a strip club.

As long as I get the same time as he does with my girls then I don’t mind.

I don't know how someone can be in a relationship when there's no trust. I wouldn't be able to be in a relationship with my husband if I didn't trust him. It's so important to me. My SIL tracks her husband on her phone so she knows where he is at all times (why are you married to him if you don't trust where he is) 🤔
